This holiday season is packed with news. The IEEE puts its final stamp of approval on Mobile WiMax. Sierra Monolithics begins shipping its RF chipsets in volume. However there may be looming threats to the WiMax Chipset marketplace. Despite this deployments march on with a planned deployment in Prague and 10 new WiMax licenses issued in Croatia to several companies. Plus we have more listener feedback.
